Spalletti Think AC Milan have not been at Juventus, Roma and Naples

AC Milan spent almost 190 million euros (about Rp 2.976 trillion) to shop for players in the transfer market this summer. But it does not necessarily make them level with Juventus, Roma and Napoli.

That’s the opinion of Inter Milan coach, Luciano Spalletti. The figure that last season AS Roma is assessing Milan have not guaranteed able to compete in the championship path.

“Milan really spent a lot of money for the season but I think Juventus, Roma and Napoli may have better chances to win,” Spalletti said ahead of training session to prepare for the 2017 International Champions Cup duel versus Chelsea on 29 July 2017.

Spalletti argued the strongest team trio last season was still ahead as their squad is not too drastic to change. Meanwhile Milan coach Vincenzo Montella, should integrate 10 new players in the squad.

“Montella is certainly a great coach and he will do well with new players but this is an adjustment period, so it’s hard to say at the moment whether they can compete for the title,” Spalletti said.
